There are new patients in your waiting room with the symptoms of hypothyroidism. You can identify them today – at the first visit – before proceeding with expensive lab testing.
FDA regulated and CE marked ThyroTest screens at a cutoff of 5mIU/L with high sensitivity, specificity and accuracy.
ThyroTest gives a word value, not a number. Numbers come from the lab and only 10% of those with symptoms will need a lab value for treatment. You can find out who they are right away and begin to treat 90% on the first visit.
If you find it hard to believe that a screen for TSH can identify the 10%, review the charts of your 20 latest patients who were sent to the lab
"TSH is the most important and sensitive test for hypothyroidism. Thyroid Stimulating Hormone is a simple blood test that measures how much T4 the thyroid gland is being asked to make. An abnormally high TSH means hypothyroidism."
- American Thyroid Association 2012

ThyroTest® provides CLIA-waived screeners with an easy way to offer rapid TSH screening as a routine test in corporate screening practices.
ThyroTest® is a rapid TSH blood test that is simple to administer and produces results in just minutes. It can be easily added to your existing practice with support for individual and group-based screening methodologies.
ThyroTest ® screens employees with symptoms of hypothyroidism by measuring the level of TSH (thyroid stimulating hormone). It will yield a positive result if the level of TSH is higher than 5 uIU/mL. This is the present day standard for the upper limits of normal for TSH .
ThyroTest ® is a rapid immunoassay, similar to a rapid pregnancy test. By using the special pipette, fill to the black line for 50 ml of blood from a finger-stick and 6 drops of buffer, a qualitative TSH level is indicated in minutes.
